After reading these reviews, I think my situation must be unique. I have lived in the 3 bedroom townhouse for 2 years. No problems with mice or roaches. When we 1st moved into the unit, we saw a mouse within the 1st week. We called maintenance who sent out Pest Control 2 days later and they placed vent barriers on all of the heaters and caulked/wired every open space in the unit. Haven't had a problem since with either mice or roaches. I do have the occasional Centipede in the summer but what place is problem free. Maintenance is quick to respond to any maintenance issues. Tons of space and decent neighbors. Cheltenham police roam the complex periodically, so I feel generally safe. Is it perfect, of course not. I would advise not to move on the "John Russell Circle", since families with lots of kids and teens tend to rent over there. There also seems to be alot of riff-raff at the circle. Also, either go to the laundry early in the morning on Sunday or late in the evening during the week because it does get crowded. But, it beats living in the city of Philadelphia and our kids are getting a top-notch, diverse education. We will probably live here for a few more years until we purchase a home.
