WOW! I can't believe I didn't think of doing this earlier! Where do I begin'
The manager is a COKE HEAD. Literally. My husband is an ex druggie of many years, and watched the traffic going in and out of her house and recognized MANY of the people. She has TONS of traffic going in and out! She would get in these moods and start yelling at us and cussing at us for absolutely nothing! Our neighbors told us she would try to look into our windows and stuff, too. And one time, someone who came into our house had stepped in dog poop and tracked it on the cement outside and she FLIPPED OUT yelling that she was going to evict us! She's PSYCHO! We finally got ahold of the agency who owns these apartments and filed complaints and cancelled our lease because we were tired of her.
The bar that is right there attracts a lot of drunks and plays LOUD music all into the night. The hills that surround it make it terrible for driving when it's icy and I had to call in many times because of it. People there do not pick up after their dogs and the poop that piles up in the lower half is disgusting! The neighbor's all pretty much keep to themselves and there's not too much noise or traffic in the actual apartments and really not too many kids, either. The creek in the back is nice to take your dogs down to. We moved here simply because they allowed dogs. The residents are mainly old, quiet people and unless you want to spend all your time at the bar and just come home to pass out, it's not a place to have younger people because the older people complain a lot. Seriously, they complain about you using the bathroom too much at night or that they can hear your vacuum cleaner! We didn't really have any problems with the maintanence like other residents have. The only problem we had was our washer leaked and we had that fixed and then to dry anything you had to put it through a few times to get your stuff dry which brings up your electricty bill. And there's no club house, pool, or ANYTHING.
The plus sides are the creek in the back, the landscaping is always nice, and you can have dogs. It's also nice that everyone has 2 parking spots, there's ample visitor parking, and you never get towed there. Most of the residents who have one or no vehicles will let you use their parking spots if you have guests. The rent is a bit high, I think, after we found a much nicer townhouse with a fenced yard for just $30 more. Plus, at this one you have to pay a pet deposit and pet rent.
