The Trails

Really enjoy living here From: NewRes2006 Date posted: 4/23/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   We had chosen The Trails prior to finding this site, and after reading the negative comments below were seriously considering going elsewhere. After living here for almost a year, however, we are very happy we decided to go ahead and move in after all. We simply have not seen the problems listed below- the management really bent over backwards to get us in, not only in what they said but the actions and time spent helping us gather the necessary peperwork and various things required to lease an apartment. They have always been courteous when we had a question and are quick to help, whether it's checking out a movie or answering a question about our lease. Our apartment itself is nice. The paint job is so-so and there are imperfections if you really want to be picky, but nothing major at all. The one problem we have had with the washer (a non-vital appliance) was fixed less than an hour after we reported it. Overall this is by far the nicest apartment we have lived in, and between the two of us we've been in 7 apartments in several complexes throughout 3 different cities. The one issue (and this is minor)that we have is parking. Usually there is more than enough parking, but for some reason every now and then the lot just fills up and you have to park a little farther than usual. Even when this occurs, it's still not as far as we normally had to park in our old apartment. There is a lot of construction taking place to the west of the complex and we're having to put up with some road detours, but that's not the complex's fault. I'm sure they knew it was going to happen and it would have been nice to know beforehand, but life will go on. The bottom line is that of all of the apartment complexes we toured (and we went through a LOT), The Trails really offers a great combination of extras with nice, quiet apartments. We are very happy with our choice and would recommend The Trails.
